Seth Rankins

White-tailed deer Capture Project

Seth Rankins is a M.S. student with the Caesar Kleberg Wildlife Research Institute at Texas A&M University-Kingsville and the East Foundation.  He is examining how microhabitat influences the phenotypic quality of white-tailed deer in South Texas.

From Cusseta, Alabama, Seth earned his B.S. in Wildlife Ecology and Management from Auburn University in 2017.  At Auburn University he worked on research with the Deer Lab for his Honors Thesis entitled High prevalence of Anaplasma platys infection in Alabama white-tailed deer.
