Paul Price serves as General Counsel for the East Foundation. Prior to joining the Foundation, Paul practiced law for over 35 years in Corpus Christi, Texas, including serving as a shareholder and chair of the tax section at Branscomb PC, senior partner of Price, Pierce & Taylor, an officer and director of Kleberg & Head, and partner in Head & Kendrick.
While practicing law, Paul served as an adjunct professor in Federal Income Taxation at Corpus Christi State University (Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi). He has advised various non-profit organizations, and helped to found two organizations, serving on the steering committee and as Chairman of the Board for the Corpus Christi Pregnancy Resource Center and Annapolis Christian Academy. He has achieved Martindale-Hubbell's highest possible rating for both ethical standards and legal ability, the AV Preeminent® Rating.
Paul earned a Juris Doctorate from Southern Methodist University School of Law, was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1975, and became board certified in Tax Law in 1983 by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. He received a Bachelor of Arts from Wheaton College, graduating Magna Cum Laude in 1972.
Paul lives with his wife, Becky, in the country east of San Antonio, and loves to take walks along country roads and sit and read under a grove of oak trees enjoying the serenity of the outdoors.
