Abe Woodard is pursuing a Ph.D. at Texas A&M -Kingsville. His focus will be on continued research of northern bobwhite population’s response to various grazing strategies on East Foundation lands.

Abe earned his Bachelor in Wildlife Biology from the University of Rio Grande in Ohio and his Masters from Texas A&M - College Station. His career as a wildlife biologist has fueled his desire to study a wide variety of wildlife and to become a certified Wildlife biologist. He spent 6 years on King Ranch as a wildlife biologist for Halliburton, and 3 years working for Deseret Ranches as a Natural Resource Manager/Wildlife biologist over their central region spanning from Nebraska to Texas.

In the future, Abe hopes to continue manage wildlife and habitat in a sustainable manner.
