Rangeland Management Specialist at Junction Service Center with USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service


Dillan Drabek is currently completing a Master’s of Science in Range and Wildlife Management with the Caesar Kleberg Wildlife Research Institute at Texas A&M University-Kingsville. The main objective of this study is to determine at different intensities of grazing and during various times of a plants growth stage, how they affect the forb standing crop production (kg/ha) and forb diversity for white-tailed deer.

He was born and raised in Schulenburg, Texas and completed a Bachelor’s of Science of Range and Wildlife Management at Texas A&M University-Kingsville. He is currently a coach of the TAMUK Rangeland Plant ID Team. His long term goal is to become a rangeland management specialist for the United States Department of Agriculture – Natural Resource Conservation Service (USDA-NRCS).
