Allie Biedenharn joined the East Foundation in January of 2016. She is responsible for providing support for projects involving the Foundation’s geographic information system, land records, and information technologies.
Allie earned Bachelor’s degrees in Renewable Natural Resources and Spatial Sciences from Texas A&M University in May 2015. While attending Texas A&M, she participated in a study abroad program in South Africa studying ecological, human and land tenure aspects of biodiversity conservation and ecotourism.
Prior to working for the Foundation, Allie spent two years as the GIS Intern in the Texas A&M Ecosystem Science and Management department assisting with coastal restoration research projects. She also worked at the City of College Station Parks and Recreation Department as the GIS intern, developing the asset database and facility maintenance catalogs. Upon graduation, Allie worked at Texan by Nature as the Executive Assistant.
Allie is a San Antonio native who enjoys hiking, riding horses, and cooking.
