We examined interspecific interactions among ocelots (Leopardus pardalis), bobcats (Lynx rufus), and coyotes (Canis latrans) in South Texas using camera traps from 2011 to 2018. Applying a multiseason, multispecies occupancy model, we found strong evidence of seasonal coexistence among all three species, with detection patterns influenced by distance from high-speed roadways. These findings highlight the importance of large private ranches, like El Sauz Ranch, in supporting ocelot recovery amid expanding road networks. Further research is needed to understand the ecological mechanisms facilitating their coexistence.
