“South Texas being one of these last legacy landscapes of quail management and quail populations… it’s our duty to protect that. Quail specifically have been declining for about the last 100 years. And so our goal is to really look at the decisions that the land managers of South Texas have to make year in, year out, in order to sustain this hunting heritage, the quail populations, the ranches themselves, and all the above.”
